Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (MEGAMIX) in Broadway JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (MEGAMIX)
Snow Canyon High School
10/25-10/29/2012
The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar's wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. This version of JOSEPH?DREAMCOAT features extended songs and dances. The Megamix is available as a separate rental with this version. CAPTAIN LOUIE JR in Broadway CAPTAIN LOUIE JR
EARLY LIGHT ACADEMY
10/25-10/31/2012
CAPTAIN LOUIE JR., based on the book "The Trip" by Ezra Jack Keats with music by Stephen Schwartz, spins a tale of Young Louie, the new kid in town who feels lonely and without friends in his new neighborhood. Looking for something to cheer himself up on Halloween Night, Louie returns to his old neighborhood friends in an imaginary journey on the wings of his favorite toy, his little red plane. The story is full of tricks and treats, as well as the incomparable music and lyrics of Stephen Schwartz. Most of all, CAPTAIN LOUIE is about friendship -- the ability to make new friends and the importance of old ones. CAPTAIN LOUIE calls for a medium size cast, with plenty of set design and costume options.

Of Mice and Men in Broadway OF MICE AND MEN
Pioneer Theatre Company
10/19-11/3/2012
Lennie and George, two Depression-era farm hands traveling from ranch to ranch looking for work, dreaming of owning their own place and "living off the fat of the land," first stepped onto the stage over seventy-five years ago. They have since entered into the American consciousness as mythic characters. Steinbeck's moving and tragic story, taught to generations of American high school students, is a powerful fable about the human impulse to make, and hold onto, spiritual connections with our fellow men as we travel through life.

LITTLE WOMEN in Broadway LITTLE WOMEN
MILLARD HIGH SCHOOL
11/6-11/10/2012
Based on Louisa May Alcott's own family experiences (and novel), LITTLE WOMEN, follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up in Civil War America. The beloved story of the March sisters is timeless and deals with issues as relevant today as when they were written. Now, this wonderful narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating new musical filled with glorious music, dancing and heart. LITTLE WOMEN embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears, and a lifting of the spirit. This powerful score soars with the sounds of personal discovery, heartache and hope -- the sounds of a young America finding its voice. In years to come, we are sure that hundreds of productions by schools and theatres throughout the world will make this stage adaptation of the American classic novel a classic musical theatre treasure in its own right.

Footloose in Broadway FOOTLOOSE
Weber High School
11/2-11/10/2012
One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the live stage with exhilarating results. When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, Ren is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. What he isn't prepared for are the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, determined to exercise the control over the town's youth that he cannot command in his own home. When the reverend's rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren's reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. The heartfelt story that emerges is of a father longing for the son he lost and of a young man aching for the father who walked out on him. To the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score (the soundtrack album reached number one on the Billboard charts and has sold over 15 million copies!) and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind.Music by Tom Snow; Stage Adaptation by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie; Lyrics by Dean Pitchford; Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford; Additional Music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim SteinmanFor more information on Weber High School, click hereFor more information on Footloose, click here
