Pioneer Theatre Company presents a new musical version of Dickens' holiday tale, A Christmas Carol: The Musical, November 30 through December 15, 2012.
By the eight-time Oscar-winning composer of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, this singing-and-dancing musical version of Dickens' Christmas classic provides a wonderfully fresh look at the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghostly visits he receives one Christmas Eve. Originally produced at Madison Square Garden in New York City, this new musical of a beloved Christmas tale is sure to provide a festive evening of entertainment for the whole family.
A Christmas Carol: The Musical features Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and Book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens.
The show plays Mondays – Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday matinees, 2:00 p.m. at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, 300 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
